I can’t think of a more appropriate album title from anyone on No Limit than “Give it 2 em Raw” by Soulja Slim. The artist was previously known as Magnolia Slim,  named after the Magnolia projects but changed to Soulja Slim when he joined the Tank in 1997/1998. Considered a low-key classic by die-hard No Limit fans, “Raw” painted vivid street tales that depicted life growing up in one of New Orleans notorious neighborhoods.

The best examples of that are “You Ain’t Never Seen” and “Imagine.” Two bangers featuring Master P and the latter C-Murder and Mac. Balance that with fun bouncy records like “What’s up, What’s Happenin” and “Get High With Me” and you have one of the best No Limit debut albums.
