The highly anticipated debut album from Master P’s younger brother, “C Murder,” hit the shelves on March 17th, 1998, delivering everything No Limit fans had hoped for. Twenty-six tracks deep, C put any naysayers who thought he couldn’t handle a solo project to bed. Classic records like “Akickdoe” with UGK and “Play No Games” with Mystikal slap ‘til this day.

Although the album is feature heavy, C was still able to stand on his own. He’s not getting washed on the records by any means. He arguably has the best soldier song ever with “Soldiers.” The latter half of  the album is its strongest closing with absolute fire like “Ghetto Ties,” “Survival of the Fittest” and “Dreams.”

Despite the long track list, it left fans wanting more of the original TRU member.
