Discovered by C-Murder, the late Mr. Magic made his No Limit introduction on C’s  “Life or Death” …7 months later his debut, “Sky’s the Limit” dropped. The 9th Ward representer was a solid rapper and dropped a slightly above average project. “Sky’s the Limit” didn’t have a soldier song or a classic anthem to speak of but it was chopped full of serviceable records. With help from C-Murder, as he served as Executive Producer as well as featuring on 7 tracks, songs like “Money Don’t Make Me,” “I Got Love for Ya,” and “Did What I Had 2” still hold up today. The album ends with a tribute to his wife “Chastity” that hits completely different now that they both have passed.
