The First Lady of the Tank’s 3rd album “Mama Drama” was not only her most successful commercially, it’s also her best work. The chemistry between her and Beats by the Pound leadman KLC was undeniable. KL handles the heavy lifting producing 10 tracks on Mama Drama, and he didn’t let her down. Bangers like “Flip & Rip” w/Mac, “Play wit Pussy” and “I Think Somebody” both featuring Fiend showcase how special the bond was with KL and Mia. Her fiery lyrics and sharp delivery showed why Mia was able to handle herself with a male driven tank. Sadly, it would be her last project on the label as she went on hiatus from music the following year, delaying her 4th album “Sista Stories” indefinitely.
