Then there was one. Mac had a handful of solid guest appearances prior to his July 21 debut album “Shell Shocked” released but no one expected what we received–22 tracks of an absolute classic material that catapulted Mac to the top of everyone’s favorite No Limit soldier list.

The Camouflage Assassin, Mac was one of the more reserved soldiers in the camp; he proved to also be the best lyrically with instantly classic verses on “ Be All You Can Be” with Fiend, “Can I Ball” with Soulja Slim and “Murda, Murda, Kill, Kill” featuring serial scene stealer Mystikal. But he didn’t need to lean on his soldiers to stand tall. Solo joints like “Slow Ya Roll,” “Callin Me” and “The Game” were equally as fire with no assistance.

In the end you have a complete album that not only was the best of the year for No Limit but is arguably the best No Limit album ever.
